to STOP Cycle Path Across Cossington Park - Belgrave Leicester

Money could be spend wisely on cycle path arould watermead park not wide eough for walkers, cyclist and runners

Simple answers below; A) Desired line - rectified easily and cheap to solve, “Stone barrier” meaning rotavate the full length and top dress with soil and grass seed. B) improvements to current existing paths and widen them if need be, to be shared with cyclists. A lot cheaper then creating an intrusive pathway across a wonderful green space in Belgrave. The local ward councillors will be awaken with next move by LCC. You will not divide Cossington park, we not need another partition.

The park has been there for decades and provide much needed green space for our community children. Many parents such as myself have used the park as youths and bring our children here to remind them of a simple clean life as we enjoyed. Their is ample cycle paths that need attention around the park. So fix those Paths and do not ruin the park by adding a path across the park. So I’m strongly against the new cycle path. Crossing park is too small for such a path and would not benefit cycles, so why add a new path. Please let our community Voice be heard! Thank you.

No need for cycle path to cut through. Have kids playing football, cricket and other sports on the grass and would ruin it for them.

By all means rebuild and renovate the broken footpath around the park, however this has got to be a severe wrong move by the council. Using stealth to literally bulldoze this cycle path through our beloved Cossington Park.

I think it's not wise to make cycle bath in Cossington... Taking most place from ground people do their excersize they enjoy they day there taking that away from them it's not wise decision there is no need of cycle path people already using road people do give way to cyclist why waste money in some thing no needed use it coumcil houses for repairs people not getting service they should

There is no need for this. A lot of young people use this area to play sports.

This is a small enough park to easily cycle around without breaking up the green space. Unless lighting is also planned, this is less secure on dark evenings.

We don't need a cycle in a park. We need it on Belgrave road

You need the Park green so that people can play games. You can do the cycle path around the perimeter

Improve the existing path and surrounding area!

Yes there is a cycle path that exists which is quite adequate albeit it needs refurbishing.

That is only green space for children and elderly, it's not good ideas the space is not large enough to accommodate both.
