Is Mayor Rendo going to reply to this petition or just ignore his taxpayers?

Do not raise taxes. Tough enough to live in NJ.

Why hasn't our mayor responded to this? Is he hiding while we await him to show some form of leadership?

"Keeping taxes low is like keeping your virtue. You just have to say "NO"." Ronald Reagan. Just to be fair, Mayor does not get to vote on the budged. He only votes to break a tie. Renegotiate all contracts and salaries. Lay off if you must..

Stop the increase in our towns taxes. We are all affected these days due to the crisis of Covid 19. Today’s times are tough, we should all cut costs as much as possible. Enough is enough!

I think is about time council and mayor should step down and competent people take over.

If massive construction on Middle School's facade WAS necessary, NOW is the time while school is closed for many months, but is it REALLY necessary? What about the wasted (money on) other projects in town? Why all the unnecessary wasteful spending?

The town has to cut down expenses. For whatever reason they (for about a month) has been doing some massive construction/renovations of the middle school's facade. Was it really necessary now?

I would like to see decrease in tax and expenses. Everyone is forced to reduce expenses and budget and the town should look for ways to do the same in this distress time

Thank you for your work on this and shedding light on their agenda.

Understanding the rigidity of municipal budgets would request a minimum of flat tax increase to -20%. Respectfully- Eugene Quigley

Bad time to raise taxes.

It is disgraceful that during a time of so much unemployment and loss an increase in budget would have even been tabled. Shame on you all.

I agree with Margaret, Less services and inceased budget? Have special election and recall Mayor Rendo. If he had wanted to help he wouldn't have run for Lt Governor (and lost by a landslide).
