I’m 70 years old. My husband passed away two years ago and I am not planning on moving ever. Taxes are too high as it is and the very idea of raising them is ridiculous! For what? A new doodad for the money pit school? I’ve been here for 46 years and have seen how WCL loves to spend money. Now would be a good time to reign in those impulses.

The way taxes are going up in this town, you will be forcing average families to sell the house and move.

Reconsider tri-County fire and police departments.

Woodcliff Lake also did not appear to follow NJ Executive Order 130, which allows municipalities to extend the grace period for property tax payments due on May 1st to June 1st. Such an extension would provide much-needed relief to homeowners struggling financially as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. Therefore, a property tax cut is in order.

Our mayor throws money away like it's candy. He overspent on Galaxy Gardens just to keep it from another buyer of whom he did not approve. How did he get reelected? Politics stinks from the White House all the way down to our nice little town.

Think too of the seniors! In addition to the anxiety of covid at an age of over 65, we are also retired.

Thank you for organizing this. Our family will be taking a 20% pay cut in order to pay our employees and I know we are not alone. The town of woodcliff lake offers few services besides sanitation and schools police and fire. There seems to be no reason they need more money to provide the same services. They should be more frugal with our money. Cut the administrative salaries I know we will be making sacrifices as well this year And so should our town

Good time to reduce town operating expenses. Town employees are not indemnified against unexpected world events. The pain should be shared......

In light of current affairs the Borough budget/expenses should be cut across all sectors. Now is not the time to burden WCL residents again with Tax Increases.

Thank you Skip for taking this initiative. Clearly these are unprecedented times that will change all of our lives going forward and create new financial challenges for us personally and for our community. Elected officials in municipal government and school leaders need to redouble their efforts to find greater efficiencies in providing much their much needed services. They should also redouble their efforts to pool resources with surrounding towns. Somehow we need to do more with less. Your goal of a 20% reduction in taxes will be a challenge but with transparency and a plan - achievable.

Since social distancing has been implemented and unemployment rate clocked in at over 14% , it’s imperative to cut spending on the pool, social and holiday functions and festivals, tennis (courts should be free to residents, with access via online signup to comply with social distancing.) Let’s all weigh in in the budget. Close the recycling center that is manned every weekend (8 days of OT?) add a pickup day during the week for each zone.

The challenge in all cases is to find ways to improve efficiencies and reduce spend. If you can't do it, ask for help- we can all pitch in to help solve this issue.

Borough Hall has been closed to the public. What are the employees doing to occupy a 5 day workweek? This is nonsense.

Cut your budget and give relief to the residents. We all have enough financial hardship to get slammed by higher taxes Thank you
