A health food store should know better, and so should it’s customers. Health doesn’t come from restricting oxygen, it comes from eating healthy foods and living a healthy lifestyle.

Terrible. So disappointed in this decision. I don't feel like the 'options' for those who are exempt are reasonable. If I can't wear a mask to shop, how am I able to wear one to come in and pay?

Deaf people and those with medical issues and anxiety are allowed to shop. It is against the law for any private or public companies to turn away the public. If people are scared of shopping indoors, they should use curb side pick up. Put the natural back in CNF. I will no longer shop at CNF until they stop illegally turning away citizens.

As a mom of a special needs kiddo that felt welcome doing in store shopping. Our community is small but we stand by our kids and we don’t take an extra barrier lightly in this already hard journey we have to face, even prior from Covid.

Buying food is more than a simple transactional experience. It’s also personal, sensory, it can be intuitive as well. These don’t translate well to an online platform and the community order website is subpar. It’s disappointing this decision was made and there are still unanswered contradictions. Are customers and staff temperature checked? Banned from touching things that you don’t purchase immediately? Are staff restricted from eating and drinking on the premises (wouldn’t they need to remove their mask to do that, and surely you can’t deny that basic right)?

Community is my *go to* supplement store, and I literally spend thousands of dollars a year on supplements. Many will just go to Amazon instead. COMMUNITY, you should be part of the solution, but now you're part of the problem.

It's all BS. they are actually breaking the bylaw by denying people service because they have a mask exemption, never mind discrimination under the supreme law of the land (the Charter of Rights and Freedoms.) Thanks for the petition!

I refuse to give my business to establishments that discriminate against their customers and have such corrupt policies. RESPECT Required!

If masks are mandatory I will no longer be shopping at community foods.
I easily spend $500 a month there.

As a customer for over 12 years, I am utterly disappointed and shocked that CNF management made this ridiculous decision. There is already at least 98% maskwearing in the store, and those of us who come in without one are aware enough to shop in a physically 'healthy' state (as this has been badgered into our collective heads since last March). This was one of the last places I felt comfortable to shop in, buy healthy food and supplements, and get some much-needed social interaction, which is sorely lacking in my life due to these insane lockdown measures. The online store is not an equivalent alternative! As a healthy person who takes care of their immune system, I have never put anyone 'at risk' by shopping in your store. It's a shame you and your fearful customers and staff don't don't understand this.

I am disappointed in this store. For a store that is suppose to represent health and wellness, and is suppose to be about "community". It is sad to see that you are discriminating against people with mental/physical conditions that prevent them wearing a mask. The bylaws fo state there are exempt people a f businesses are expected to bot refuse those who can not wear maek. You vote with every dollar that you spend. Time for me to start voting at other businesses that do not descriminate.
