Curry needs to keep these programs especially with the ignorance that engulfs this campus! These students need these classes to stay aware in society and to better themselves.

As a current student here, I was really taken aback when I read the list of majors and support services being cut. Too many cuts are being made. Majors that should not be cut are. Support Services like PAL, the writing center, and the speaking center are essential to the academics at Curry, and should not be cut. This isn’t fair to current students and future students.

A major attraction for my daughter to attend Curry College was the support system provided to students through programs like PAL. It would be a step back to eliminate programs like that.

People come to Curry and pay the absurd costs to get opportunities at different majors and options, what about those that already spent 55000 and now they can't study what they want

You cannot cut all these programs from curry, it is wrong & unacceptable. Some student chose here for certain majors & then now they have to look at other schools or other majors. Too many cuts for this school. The school & it’s officials are not looking at this logically or for any benefits of its students. I hope this is reconsidered. Thank you

Shocked does not begin to describe my response to these actions. Where was due process? We bargained in good faith. This was not the intent of this language. Beyond disappointed - huge loss of respect.

I am a proud transfer student who attended Curry College her junior and senior year. I have go to say that transferring schools was the best thing I did. I came to Curry because of the Sociology program and PAL. The Sociology program provided me with the best possible knowledge from the most amazing professors who took time out of their day to simply respond to an email or even meet with me when I had a question or if I did not understand a concept. These professors pushed the right buttons to keep me going and to help me think in new and unique ways. These professors knew my potential and helped me reach my potential and more.These professors became my support system when I needed help with an assignment in another class all the way to giving me advise on maters programs that I should look towards. If you take this program away you are going to take away the positive experience that I had and not allowing any other student to possibly experience the same thing. If you take things program away you are taking away diversity.
On the other hand PAL should not be even considered to be taken away. PAL is one of the most amazing programs every created and has helped so many students with learning differences. If PAL is taken away we will be clumped in with the “regular students” which is not ok because we wont be giving the support that we need to best succeed. As I mentioned I came to Curry because of PAL and I do not look back at my decision. PAL gave me the confidence to keep going when I wanted to give up. PAL gave me the resources that I can use even after I graduate. PAL also gave me a support system because I knew that Megan would have the best assisted technology and my PAL professor Laura had the best possible answers for me.
I could go on and on about the amazing experiences that I experienced at Curry, but I feel if these programs away you are potentially taking away wonderful experiences from students.
