How are we going to be considered a Liberal Arts school if we get rid of English, history, sociology, etc.? This just goes to show that Curry doesn't care about diversity or inclusivity and it makes me ashamed to have gone there.

This is ridiculous. Curry has promised time after time to better and do more to promote and teach acceptance and diversity; by cutting these programs is doing the opposite. The people in charge should be ashamed.

Sociology, Women and a gender studies as well as Black studies, are few of the most important courses that bring out understanding of the world and ourselves. Extremely poor decision by Curry to have them removed. Please bring them back!

Curry again is continuing to show how little they care about the students who attend this college.

These courses are the reason I stayed at curry. I cannot imagine my degree without the impact these courses and faculty had on my experience.

These programs were crucial to my success as both a Curry student and in my current graduate program. I would not be where I am without these programs, courses, and phenomenal faculty members that are set to be cut. I am incredibly sad that this is the route the institution has chosen to go.

The Curry College Liberal Arts Programs, Like the Sociology program, and assistance programs like the PAL programs are reasons why students actually want to attend Curry College. don't take that reason away from them.

The liberal arts program, professors, and emphasis on diversity through these programs/professors is the reason I am able to obtain my MSW and continue my activism. Curry College will be at a loss without these programs and professors.
