I as a Community Education Major is greatly affected by this proposal. The whole reason I chose to be a community education major was because I didn’t want to be licensed in the state of Massachusetts.

I wouldn't have received my degree without the classes Curry is intending to cut. These classes helped me further my academic career and lead to me attend Grad school. Don't take away the classes the benefit the students!

Most students come into college with a dream and a path in mind. They choose it for themselves, they pursue it for themselves, and they look forward to building a career out of it. I cant imagine where I would be if my major had been cut during my college career.

As someone who goes to Curry and hears this school yell loud and proud about being diverse and inclusive, to propose to remove everything it has in plan is entirely the opposite! How can you be inclusive and diverse but want to get rid of everything that acknowledges and makes that possible? How can you be okay letting go of so many professors and minors/majors that make this school what it is? If I knew this is how Curry was going to be I would have went somewhere else. This is unacceptable... this cannot go through.
