This needs to be put on the ballot so that all Culver City residence can decide. This it too big of an issue to be determined by 5 representatives.

Doo not destroy the fabric that makes this City the wonderful place it is to live. More density and expensive housing is not the answer. Stop the Council from overreaching and destroying this City.

Asses first, create logical, Culver City quality of life plan with public input, then have city wide vote on zoning changes.

Eliminating R1/single-family zoning in Culver City will be tragic in all aspects for the residents of Culver City. This proposal is only going to revenue for the city and the developers. Eliminating R1/single-family zoning is not the solution to the affordable housing shortage. All the new multi-use developments in Culver City and the West LA area are not even full because they are NOT affordable. Culver City Council, please reconsider this option.

Creating affordable housing in Culver City is important. Changing eliminating R1 zoning is not the best solution for our city.

Please, please, as a resident of CC for over 20 years, I night here because of the neighborhoods and community…which will be destroyed by this plan. A short sighted (yes!) and more a ploy by developers who will make tons of money. No to removing R1.

No changes to R-1 without full public surveys, explanation/justification based on facts (not speculation), and buy-in from Culver City residents.

R1 elimination is the nuclear option. Do it really solve the problem in the most effective way?
