Looking forward to voting on our City Council again so we can get rid of the three people voting in favor of this. Most likely they want it so they can line their pockets with home developer money.

Please understand that allowing developers to purchase single family homes and convert them into multi-family home, will NOT increase affordable housing in Culver City, will increase traffic and congestion, and will actually hinder families by forcing them into smaller rental units at high prices making it even harder to establish permanent residence.

Any city council person who voted for this insane measure will be voted out at first opportunity.

My wife and I both are opposed to zoning changes in Culver City. I gave up trying to attend zoom meetings of the city council because the digital methods of participating obstructive to ordinary people. Covid was interfering with everything, including what was going on behind the digital city council doors. We bought and paid for our home and are guilty of nothing pertaining to racism. The remarks of certain council members about who lives in CC and why are offensive and have nothing to do with density. The self-righteous claims that more density is the answer are ridiculous. Traffic in Culver City is so horrendous that only a fool would suggest that bringing more people and cars into the city is the best thing to do. Look at the jams stretching through our formerly quiet neighborhoods already.

Eliminating R1 zoning will not create affordable housing in our community but rather will irrevocably alter the quality of residential life in Culver City. Please reconsider and listen to concerned citizens.

My home is zoned R-4, but there’s no room on the land or in the street for parking for 3 more units of people. Please stop this crazy idea. Our property values will decrease immensely.

The premise behind this proposed zoning change is deeply flawed. Integrating our communities and supporting DEI will not be advanced through this measure. The interests of developers will be.

Keep our neighborhood zoned as single family dwelling. Let’s not ruin what we have. This won’t help the housing problem. It will just help developers and builders. Do NOT vote to ruin our neighborhood, PLEASE!
