our children have a right to a good education. Education is not a free entitlement. Our tax dollars pay for it. When we work an when we shop when we pay taxes on our property our car taxes etc. It's time we as parents get involved. Our board is no longer listening to parents an children. We must get there attention. Our tax dollars are being wasted on things other than good schools an children's education.

This is absolutely ridiculous in my opinion! Since when is it right for our board of education to make such a drastic change without any kind of discussion from the public on the matter. It is our rights as parents/citizens/tax payers to be able to make the decision as to where our child attends school that we believe will work best for them.

Dont allow an appointed superintendent to take away parents rights of choice of school they want their child to attend.

I have no kids in the race yet but will in a couple years. Hope this guy is long gone from Cullman by them but I don't want anyone telling me where my kids have to go to school at any time much less when they are already at one school and decide to change things up again! This is why this pisti

The school board should have brought this to a public discussion. People please Remer all this when board seat elections come back around.

This decision is going to change people's lives. Having our children in schools that we choose is important to us. I speak for many others in saying...I will have to sell my home and move to have my second child attend the same school my first child attends. This is not fair to the children at all!!

This is total b.s. all they worry about is money. Yet they buying lake houses and lake lots. How about 5 hey sell the property and finish garden City school. If they aren't careful they gonna push our kids to cullman city.
