When I heard of the possibility of Mr. Tomas Cuevas, Jr. having the new Elementary School named after him, I thought who better than a local San Marcos resident that contributed to our community, churches, schools and numerous fundraisers without hesitation. He was a generous man with a heart bigger than a pot of gold. He surely deserves this recognition and has my full support!

Mr. Cuevas was always ready to help various organizations within the community of San Marcos with donations. It was always without hesitation. A very humble man. I feel this a great way to honor him and his family.
