Mr. Tomas Cuevas Jr. was committed to both San Marcos and its citizens. He was quick to assist those in need and lead by example. Naming a new school after him would be an appropriate way to. acknowledge all that he represented.

Mr. Cuevas was such a great man. He did so much for the community of San Marcos without being asked to or with any agenda. Everything he did was pure kindness. I personally was sponsored by Mr. Cuevas on several extra curricular activities while in school; which without his help I wouldn't have been able to. He deserves a school in his name and more!

I was born and raised in San Marcos TX. Now live in Austin Texas but knew Mr. Cuevas and his family. He was a very nice man and deserves the honor of the school named in his memory and behalf. Thank you.

There are no words to describe Tom that have not been echoed over and over. Compassionate, sefless, willing to look out for those less fortunate. Somehow, someway everybody is related to Tom. He cares for you like family and the least we can do is to continue to care for him. A fitting honor for an honorable man. Thank you Tom.

He was like family awesome man! I remember going to the store with my parents when I was a little boy and he was always true till his last days he would greet us and make deals on fruits! He knew my dad personally and my father in law as well! Always honest and respectable! He deserves our votes! But we shouldn't have to vote! Just give the name!
