I personally will be returning from holiday travels on the evening of December 31st. Having CTE online would give an opportunity to settle in at home and recuperate before returning to the classroom.

The two times I personally caught Covid was from traveling, and I think a sort of buffer week online would greatly reduce both transmission and absences.
