With reference to the new income tax bill which was forwarded to the standing committee by Honourable Finance Minister Mrs. Nirmala Sitharaman on 13th Feb, 2025 does not include CS & CMA in the definition of accountant that means they are not elligible for tax audit.

This is only a bill rather an Act, would request you all to join hands together, escalate this further with President ICSI and ICMAI along with other stakeholders or dignitaries including parliamentarians.

Today we need to come out of our comfort zone, we may have to sacrifice certain things today but these efforts may make our tomorrow more relevant and productive as a professional through which we can further create our own better scope in the industry.
