This is a petition for a change in law for cats, I’m asking for your help to ask the government to change the law, my cat was recently hit by a speeding car and left to die. I had been searching for her all day with a horrible feeling in my gut, I decided to do a door to door asking neighbours to check thier sheds, I had gone to one neighbour only doors away from mine to sadly find my beautiful girl laying there injured and sadly deceased. We need a change for cats so we can help protect them and save thier lives, drivers need to stop and check the cats if they have hit them and report to rspca police and if able to get emergency veterinary care. This law will help make drivers more aware of cats. Cats are just as much as family as dogs and we have a law for dogs. So please help me let’s make the power of Facebook make a change help me get crystals law because cats lives matter

Drivers just hit cats leaving the owners to pick up the medical expenses or the emotional labour of death. There needs to be protections in place, and consequences.

my cat was killed last month and the driver didnt even slow down. people need to be held accountable for this it is heartbreaking to lose a family member like that.
