I visited a similar cafe in Korea and was impressed by how well-kept and clean everything was. It definitely lightened my spirits and would be a welcome addition to grumpy, stodgy DC.

A cat cafe would help bring the attention of the public to the happiness that cats bring to a home, which can same more cats from the streets and shelters.

Pets are good for our health! According to the CDC, they decrease blood pressure, cholesterol levels, triglyceride levels, feelings of loneliness, and government gridlock. (Okay, I made that last one up, but the rest are true.) Please approve the zoning exemption for Crumbs & Whiskers. Thank you.

Great idea. Great fun but also great for giving people -- kids! -- relaxing time with friendly animals and helping animals find homes.
