This is completely out of character with the neighborhood, and raises major safety concerns.

This land should be purchased and added to the Trebek Open Space.

The city is already overbuilt. We must protect our wildlife corridors.

Same situation occurred on Laurel Canyon Blvd, and it is a big problem.

My concerns are that this developer is skirting "the rules" by misleading "the city" into 1) thinking they are building to existing code without variances 2) they are building something inconsistent with the neighborhood and surrounding houses 3) they will be disturbing the wildlife corridors and preventing our critters from the stream where they get their water from 4) they are "breaking the rules" but don't care - because they're only in this for the money.

I cannot imagine the potential hazards that this oversized building will create to the environment. Terrible location not to mention the disruption to the traffic which is already becoming a burden to all who live in the upper more populous Nichols canyon homeowners.

This will be a disaster to both traffic during construction and the impact on our quiet community.

What the hell!
I moved here because it was s a place with nature and mostly modest attractive homes. This is gross. What people are these?!?!?

The community is already becoming too congested with apps out there like Waze. The last thing we need is a big development project to put a house in an already congested area. Lets let nature be nature for once and leave this land untouched!

This home would be 4 - 5 times larger than the majority of homes in the neighborhood. A nuisance and eye sore to everyone else. I oppose this structure that will compromise the neighborhood and the surrounding wildlife.

This will be the beginning of the end of the natural beauty that defines Nichols Canyon. I employ everyone to sustain the nature and beauty that makes Nichols Canyon special.
