I am either a member of the CRPA or would become one if I could petition to nominate members to the CRPA Board of Directors using a process like the one outlined below: "All fully paid Lifetime members and Annual members, who have attained the age of 18 years and who are citizens of the United States of America, can petition to elect a member of the CRPA to the CRPA board of directors. To be eligible to vote, a person must be a member of record on or before the day prior to the Annual Meeting of Members." If the CRPA allowed members at large to be nominated and elected by the membership I would either join or renew my membership. If CRPA were to not allow petition candidates for the board I would either not join or likely allow my membership to lapse. This petition will be valid until February 14th, 2009.
