You do understand that it is probably the only park worth going to around the area, right? You do realise that it's also probably the last piece of nature standing around the area? Do you even really care about the environment or just the money that it sweeps in? Ask yourself. I don't know. But what I do know is that the voice of the people is far more valuable than what anyone else has to say. Also one last thing; living in the area for 15 years, I can tell you that transport is fine how it is. Everywhere is accessible - we do live in London if you hadn't realised.

The park cannot be disrupted or used in any way for cross rail when there are alternative options close by

Shoreditch Park is a vital asset for the local people and I feel strongly that it should not be used for these proposals. The other alternative sites proposed are much better suited as they would have a less detrimental impact on the park and on the use and enjoyment of the local neighbourhood by our community.

Please don't use Shoreditch Park for the ventilation shaft/construction site. The proposals would rob the local community of a significant amount of our only local green space and cause traffic chaos on Poole Street/New North Road.

It is not desirable or necessary to use green space in London

Its is just plain wrong for big business and the government to cut up Green Space in London. Why not use a derelict site that is awaiting a posh redevelopment - we know why because that land is valuable, it would be worth millions to a private sector developer. By putting this shaft in the park means the the policy makers are putting money before Humans, lets keep the green space and have on less tower block

I beg you not to build in the park. Use other available sites NOT in the park

The park is already ruined by the amount of bike tracks going through it.This isnt going to help.

Do Not Dig in the Park. The dig can and should be either at Canal or car park of Brittania leisure Ctr Or one of the tennis courts behind it. As a parent of 2 kids who use the park daily, I OPPOSE THIS DIG.

Placing a Crossrail Shaft in the middle of one of the few local parks is completely ill conceived the alternative location at the Britannia leisure centre is no better.

I do not want Crossrail 2 to build their shafts in the park, or the Britannia Leisure Centre, or its parking lot

This is the only substantial green space in the area - don't destroy it.

This is unnecessary and to the detriment of the local community.

I am appalled at the speed at which the plans for Crossrail are forging forward, even though residents in the surrounding area have not been fully informed, and have not been asked what they think about the whole scheme. We as residents of The Shoreditch Park area have the right to know exactly how Crossrail's plans will affect us on a daily basis. We need more information from Crossrail, and I don't mean jargon, which most of us will not understand. I am not saying that having Crossrail will be a bad thing for Londoners, but I do want more down to earth and realistic communication from Crossrail and Transport for London. I am a committee member on Hobbs Place TRA and I don't know of any residents who've received any leaflets or any other information about these major plans in the post. Shoreditch Park surface is quite delicate as it is, being a former bomb site in the 2nd World war; the soil is not very deep. These plans could have a devastating effect on the much used and much loved Shoreditch Park. The Park is used a lot for adult and for children's sport. As a large green space it's vitally important for the Hoxton East and Shoreditch area environment. Many flats on Hobbs Place Est face directly onto Shoreditch Park. as do many others on the park perimeter, so the noise levels will surely affect residents’ general health and wellbeing. I strongly object to the 6 year plans. Please do not invade our park. Look elsewhere. There must be an area with a lower % of residents nearby.

Shoreditch park serves as the only green area for miles in this area. It is vital for the community that it remains untouched by the crossrail railway works.
