Shoreditch Park is crucially important for the health and well being of our area. It is a meagre, but green jewel of a, space when you consider the number of homes/schools/clubs that use it. It will be in even more in demand when the new homes are built out in the, more than doubled in density, Colville Estate.
We must SAVE SHOREDITCH PARK

Shoreditch Park is the only green space in the area and is too busy already, taking more space for construction will impact the health and wellbeing of the community. There are other non green spaces that are viable.

This is the only green area between Old Street, Hoxton and Liverpool Street. It is very important not only because many of us enjoy the park in different ways but also provide a low cost outdoor solution for different intertainment

We live directly opposite Shoreditch Park and it is a beautiful open space used for sports, exercise, relaxation and play for all ages!
In an area with plenty of transport options, 15 mins walk from Liverpool Street, 10 mins from Old Street and Hoxton stations, please reconsider this as a Crossrail site, it is not necessary!

Shoreditch Park provides much needed open space in a very densely populated area. Shoreditch is a place where people raise their families and the park is key to that, not least as a place for children to play safely.

I love Shoreditch and whenever I'm in London, which is often, I always make sure I add an extra day so that I can spend a day in Shoreditch and often go to The Proud Archivist, The Hive + Trew Era Cafe

Shoreditch Park is an invaluable and unmissable amenity for the people of Shoreditch. More effort must be directed towards finding alternative ways to serve the realisation of Crossrail 2.

Shoreditch park is vital to the community as a garden, green space, meeting point. It is the only significant green spacein the area.

Since the park has been transformed into a real park (about 10 years ago) where people meet, do sport and have picnics, my mental health has improved. When I cannot go out because of lack of energy, I can look out of my window and enjoy others enjoying themselves. I also play Beach Volley Ball in the park (it was the first of the kind in London) and this is extremely important for my health. I can also enjoy others playing from my kitchen window. Players come from all over London to play in Shoreditch Park. What a treat! Please, do not destroy my and a lot of people's health by using Shoreditch park for anything else than being a park for the people of London.

The park is the only green space in this area. It is a valuable community resource that thousands depend on all through out the year. We need shoreditch park to remain accessible for all.

I am against the redevelopment of the little green space still left in the area. Please consider developing this ventilation shaft in an area that does not sacrifice the green space in Shoreditch park or destroy the trees and family space outside the leisure centre.

This green space is very valuable to a densely populated area where most people live in flats. It has vital recreation and sports facilities which should not be lost

I am strongly against the encroachment of buildings on our cities limited green space.
Hence I would favour:
Option A – Eagle Wharf Road (48 and 48a)
Option B – Eagle Wharf Road (46 and 47)
rather than the other options that take away valuable leisure space... particularly important given the increase in population density in the area anticipated by the redevelopment of the coleville estate including but not limited to the construction of two 15+ story towers in the direct vicinty.

The construction site required by Crossrail. 2 for a vent shaft and emergency access could be in use for 6 years. This will be followed by permanent structure of up to 25mx25m. This will dramatically diminish the amenity value of Shoreditch Park and should be opposed.

It makes no sense to reduce green space in an area where population density is going starkly up - with canalside developments and a doubling of the number of houses on the adjacent Colville Estate.
