Please consider other options for the Shaft and save the green space of Shoreditch Park.

Please save our precious green space. Shoreditch Park has seen a massive improvement in recent years and is now a genuine hub for our community. Let's not put this at risk,

Please please please do not ruin Shoreditch Park. It is the only green space for miles around. Every day I walk my dog there and chat to other dog owners. My children also play football and rounders there in the summer. We frequently have picnics and family gatherings there when the weather is good. Where will we all go if this green space is taken away.

Strongly disagree with the proposal - the park needs to be protected as it is one of the few available green spaces in the area. It is disgraceful that TFL are even considering taking away a portion of the park from the local community when there are a number of other less obtrusive sites available for the shafts.

I have already provided feedback on TfL's website following the recent public consultation roadshow in this matter. I am very concerned about the potential loss of green space in the park which my flat overlooks. There are other alternatives available which should be considered instead of subjecting the park to a lengthy period of construction activity with a permanent structure erected in the park at the end of the process which would take away much needed green community space.

Shoreditch park offers the only substantial green space in this large residential area. The plan will significantly alter the character of the park taking away much needed recreational space that will adversely impact the entire community in and around the park.

This is not the right place for the vent.

Shoreditch park offers the only substantial green space in this large residential area. The plan will significantly alter the character of the park taking away much needed recreational space that will adversely impact the entire community in and around the park. The park is used by people (and dogs) of different ages ranging from toddlers to senior citizens and is a safe area to get some exercise, play sport and enjoy a sense of community. Add to this the major traffic snarls the construction would cause on a major road (New North Road). It appears that some of the other locations are better options. I have never seen the parking lot at Britannia Leisure Centre fully utilized. Similarly, Eagle Wharf Road is a low traffic area.

This would be an eyesore and a shame to lose valuable green space as well as huge inconvenience for residents. The other 4 alternative locations which are far better and less disruptive.

There is plenty of warehouse space around in the area, so I don't understand how/why TFL could choose a park for this gigantic shaft. This is totally unacceptable and with no justification whatsoever. I am completely against this proposal.

I would like to say firstly where were TFL on the weekend as part of the roadshow? They weren't there! This would be an absolute travesty if this went ahead and totally unfair on all the residents. I have been in the area for 15 yrs and this is just not an acceptable situation. There is plenty of warehouse space on eagle wharf road and why would you want to destRoy greenery and area of social gains.

Please don't dig up the only significant green space in the area, use one of the alternatives that has less of an impact on the local environment.

Put it in the middle of Old Street roundabout.

Given that there are alternate locations proposed for the work site and access shaft, I strongly oppose the site location in Shoreditch Park – it is a much valued green space in an otherwise densely populated urban area and would significantly reduce the quality of life of local residents, as well as cause years of disruption.

Do not take away a valued green and open space where people can enjoy the air and exercise.

There are other options for the location of the work site and access shaft. Please use one of these rather than taking away a valued green and open space where people can enjoy the air and exercise.

I use this park multiple times a week for running, it would be a great shame for it to be reduced in size, given how small it currently is already!
