I feel strongly that this should not be in one of the few spaces in shoreditch/hoxton set aside for leisure/relaxation in the form of an open green space.

Surely there are brown field sites that could be considered for the Crossrail 2 vent? Shoreditch Park was born out of the devastating destruction of WW2 which decimated great swathes of Hoxton. Please don't destroy the area again.

Shoreditch Park is a very rare inner London sports field, particularly popular as an adult Tag Rugby venue during spring, summer and autumn. In would be gutting to see the sports fields taken out of use, denying hundreds of participants access to play sport in this part of London.

The Shoreditch park was originally terrace houses as shown in a recent Time Team tv special on urban archaeology. It was cleared after the war and gifted as a park for the local people. Only limited parts of the park are left for casual use as opposed to play use and it already is congested as a result if nearby development. Any part loss of this valuable open space will negatively impact local people. Also the area is composed of a demographic of poor low income households in a blighted area of London poorly served by tube stations and this would proposal will cause endless harmful health issues to the local people who already struggle with the current availability of open space.

Wrong thing to put in a park, Middle of some traffic roundabout would be more appropriate.

I strongly believe that it is not right to build a ventilation shaft in Shoreditch Park. It is rare to find green space in London and Shoreditch Park is an integral part of the area, it is a park that many people love to use and would be ruined if the ventilation shaft was build in it. It is has also been proposed to be built right in front of Gainsborough Studios where hundreds of people live, this would become a huge environmental problem.

Shoreditch Park is perfect as it is. People is enjoining it every day, some use it for relax, others to work out, read, walk, talk, children have their safe place to play. No matter the season, no matter the weather. To steal such a large part of the Park to all the locals and the community who love it is really a non sense. Please protect this green space!

Green space such as Shoreditch Park is at a great premium in London. It is both part of the "lung" of the metropolis and provides space for people, families and children to play, exercise and breathe fresher air. The siting of so large a structure and the proposed 3-6 year construction site allied to it on any of the proposed sites especially that at point C in the north west corner of the park would infringe upon this basic amenity.

1.to turn such a large part of the park into a construction site for 6 years is obvioulsy a bad outcome for park users 2. the site of the works is directly infront of flats where hundreds of people live. other sites proposed in this area do not have these drawbacks to the same extent

Shoreditch park is the only small area of green space in what is a densely populated residential area. A quick visit during the summer is all that is needed to see how important the park is to the local area and the community. While I appreciate the importance of the crossrail 2 project the alternatives are far preferable to building on public parks and depriving the community of valuable open spaces. Thank-you

Hoxton has only one green space. It is used all times of the year by families, friends, locals who want a moment of peace, children having fun, sports lovers, dog walkers - in fact East Enders of all ages, races and creeds . I understand the need for this project but please build it elsewhere. It is important to protect our parks. It is important to give Londoners the oxygen of freedom and peace of mind that the park brings. Don't spoil it. There are many brown field alternatives around

Could this not be re sited elsewhere. Surely it could be placed far less obtrusively for both business and residents alike? The level of investment, both privately and commercially, required in this area of London would surely mean that far more consideration be afforded accordingly.

We live in Gainsborough Studios that borders Shoreditch Park. As stated by many of the surrounding community members, it is the only significant green-space around that provides crucial areas for families to relax, children and animals to play. Whilst we recognise the need for the CR2 vent, we vehemently object for it to be placed in the only green-space options that have been proposed. Especially that construction may take 3-6 years!! This would be truly be an ugly blight on the community's enjoyment of the park. We urge TFL to listen to its community members and supporters by considering other options that do NOT detract from this truly precious green-space.

I live in Gainsborough Studios for the past 9 years and I use Shoreditch Park a lot as it is the main park in the area. I strongly object to having a cross rail ventilation shaft in the park.

what a shame on this planning proposal. This is the only green park for miles that has a community that actually uses it on a daily basis. I strongly object.
