Businesses like this are important to the revitalization of Girard Ave. Why does the city want to keep this area an undesirable place to go?

I support the establishment of a brewery pub at the proposed location by Crime & Punishment Brewing Co. While I appreciate the due diligence of the zoning board and approvals process, it is essential that consistency in zoning permissions exist throughout Philadelphia city and county in this regard. Brewing was a driving economic force in this neighborhood historically, and can again be part of a surge of diverse business establishment in Brewerytown.

Brewerytown needs to be developed further with awesome businesses like this. Don't let weird technicalities get in the way of that, Philly govt.

Philadelphia's bureaucracy never ceases to amaze me... let's make things difficult for a business attempting to bring life back to a neighborhood, but let's not stop shady developers from bulldozing an entire block, including property they don't own, without the necessary safety permits.
