I strongly agree with the petition. We moved to this area for the lot size and nature found here. The type of proposed development does not belong here. Traffic congestion is already a problem on Markham Woods Road.

The current/original zoning was put in place to protect the surrounding properties and wildlife. Local roads and schools cannot accommodate more high density development.

There was sound reasoning behind the present property zoning when it was adopted. The present zoning should remain in effect for all the reasons listed on the petition.
