I just found out the administration flipped and we can actually decorate our caps plus put our final quotes in the yearbook after all. I am kind of shocked that this worked out but honestly so stoked that we get to have our own style for graduation. Keep checking for …
Creekside has banned seniors from expressing our individuality and have stopped us from putting our final words as seniors on the yearbook and not allowing us to decorate our cap for graduation. It's time for us to get our individuality back! If you agree, and want to be apart of a change, sign our petition! Go Knights!
I was looking at some of the senior photos and realized how much we are going to look back at these same boring pages forever unless we actually push for these changes. Some of you have been reaching out with your own ideas for cap designs and honestly those sketches are way better than the blank fabric they want us to wear. We are currently trying to set a time to talk to the office staff but it is proving to be a headache just getting someone to acknowledge us.

I honestly cannot believe how fast this is moving because when I first typed this up I really just thought it would be me and maybe two friends. Seeing all these people coming out of the woodwork to back us up makes me feel like maybe they actually have to listen to us now which is just wild.

It is a tradition of every senior class and to have that taken away is very unfortunate and upsetting. When the class of 2015 comes back to there 20 year reunion they won't have senior quotes to talk about. Let's change that for the class of 2016!!

As a member of class of 2015, the school took everything that we wanted to do to express ourselves. I may be leaving, but I want to leave knowing that 2016 will fight back and show the school the students are rulers.

It's not our fault for the mistakes of past seniors and we shouldn't be punished for their actions. We had no way of preventing them from doing whatever they did therefore we are not at fault.

Quotes were used in the past, and removed because of a different class year, That doesn't mean we (class of 2016) will do the same. Quotes show a representation of the person and are held to keep value and rememberance of the person.

The school needs to give students their rights back, and actually treat us like soon to be adults.

Senior quotes are there to show our personality our senior year. It shouldn't be taken away because of a few misrepresented quotes in years past. We are not them, we are our own person.
