What a great thing to bring people into Reigate. I've already mentioned it to non locals who are very excited about the prospect.

I think this will be a brilliant addition to Reigate, and a good way to promote local breweries and craft beer makers.

Quite frankly stunned at the locals objecting to a small independent retailer trying to open a local business, for local people.
I grew up in Reigate and a large percentage of those living there are real ale lovers!

This is exactly the sort of small business which Reigate should be attracting. Far too many "corporates" in the High Street.

I support this application because I believe we should all support small independent businesses, especially local ones. I also believe this business will be an asset to Reigate's eclectic collection of shops & businesses

This shop would be completely in line with the positive drive to have locally sourced, locally championed products on the high street in Reigate rather than the ever growing number of bland national chains that litter the town.

The interest in craft beer has increased quite considerably over the last couple of years and is now a a booming business and very "on trend". My husband, one of my brothers and several friends regularly attend craft beer tastings or beer festivals which are usually some distance away. To have a venue which is very local, run by a local man, catering to the tastes of people who don't necessarily want a pub or restaurant atmosphere in which to taste and buy different types of beer, especially as there are so many new ones coming on to the market every day, I think is just what Reigate needs. As the shop closes fairly early, compared to traditional pub/restaurant/off-licence hours, I can't see that there would be any silliness that can sometimes herald the end of an evening's drinking as this doesn't appear to be that kind of place. I only think it can be good for the town and add to the variety of different venues already available.

Exactly what Reigate needs - a craft beer shop and micropub. A place for people to visit and chat over a drink with no music distractions. Brilliant.

A great idea that would be a much-needed addition to the small number of independent shops in Reigate, and support other local businesses.

Like to see a speciality shop rather than just another off license

Sounds great! It would be good for Reigate to give an independent, family run business the opportunity to trade :)

I believe the controlled opening hours will ensure Four Hops will be good and considerate neighbours and look forward to tasting some of their wares.
