Dear John, Paula, and the CPSC Board of Directors:
As parents we request that you consider alternative solutions to the school calendar for 2012-2013. Holding true to our charter and the tenets of Central Park School for Children, we are partners in our children's education. We ask that our concerns be heard and considered, and that you support our desire to work together toward communication and compromise.
The silence from the board is becoming difficult to ignore as we continue to wait for a real seat at the table. It is exhausting to keep pushing for basic transparency but I refuse to let this issue fade into the background.

The momentum behind this request is heavy and it reflects how much we all care about our kids. I am exhausted from the silence on the other side but seeing this tide of people behind me keeps me moving forward.

Ridiculous scheduling. How are working families supposed to make this work? Need a rethink asap.

The lack of communication on this calendar is really frustrating. We deserve to be part of these decisions.
