I really thought this might just float around in the void but seeing so many people agree that the fields are basically a hazard zone is honestly kind of overwhelming. It is wild to think about how many foul balls have whizzed past us while we were just trying to enjoy a game and now that we have this momentum I am ready to start knocking on some office doors to get the netting installed before someone actually gets hurt.

Ridiculous that it has been like this for as long as it has. Spectator safety should be priority #1 for the school board.
It is a disaster waiting to happen. You cant even enjoy a game without worrying about a foul ball taking someone out from the next field.
I stopped going to games because I am terrified for my younger kids. Put up the netting already.
My daughter got hit in the arm last year watching her sister play. It leaves you constantly looking over your shoulder instead of watching the game.
SO DANGEROUS. I have seen way too many close calls.

Fix this now before a kid gets seriously hurt. Totally unsafe design.
