Coyote Abatement Program, La Verne & San Dimas Communities

Something needs to be done now. They aren't just going after pets, children and adults are being stalked as well.

We’ve lived here for 26 years and never seen so many bold coyotes in our neighborhood. They walk down our street and behind our house. I came home from my parents one evening and a couple of coyotes where walking up the street towards our house so I honked to scare them off, they just stood there watching us and wouldn’t budge. Finally I turned on my car and rolled out the driveway as if I was going to leave and they still didn’t move.

We have had 2 Coyote on our front porch 2 x since February 2019..that was picked up by Camera..but also have seen them running in park..up to 5 at one time. And who knows how many times we haven't seen them but they are here?.Neighbors cats have torn up and found parts in yards...I warn everyone to keep pets inside..my dogs are not allowed in yard at night or early Morning..and go out with them during day.I live at Mobile home park next to San Dimas Hsp. I love animals but something MUST be done!!

We should feel safe in our backyard

We want our free will to roam our out properties with our fear of danger from these coyotes. Trap and euthanize needs to start now. It has become an infestation of coyotes.

It is essential to greatly reduce the coyote population for the health and welfare of people and pets.

We live in fear for our dog. It's such a shame we can't even enjoy our backyard anymore. We had a coyote in our backyard searching for our dog. Thank goodness he was in the house. I'm tired of walking my dog in fear.

A coyote population explosion! We live like prisoners! Scared all the time!

I have lived here in San Dimas for 11 years now. I have never seen so many coyotes. One stalked me and would not leave even though I yelled stomped my feet ect. I was a little freaked out. I was trying to walk up to my place. I have barely been walking my dogs for months now, I am so fearful and having anxiety about taking them out. There all around my place at every hour of the day and night. I also see them on my ring doorbell when I didn't even know they were there. Something needs to be done I feel like a prisoner in my own house. I feel bad for my dogs that they haven't been going out to exercise like they need to be.

Trapping of the most habituated coyotes works to restore pet and public safety. It worked in my neighborhood. Start trapping now before a human is attacked.

I watched in horror as a huge coyote murdered my dog this past October. In my front yard, 15 feet from me. At noon. I live on Garey and Smith, LaVerne is one block behind me. I replay that event every single day. That little dog was my fur baby. DO SOMETHING NOW BEFORE A CHILD IS HURT.

Our beloved cat was attacked & killed by a coyote. I realize it was just doing what coyotes do, but the population is out of control now and needs to be managed.

I should not need to carry protection when going outside my house. Unacceptable.

Walk in early mornings in north La Verne. Have seen as many as 7 in a pack. Agree too many and we too can no longer leave our dog in backyard alone.
