Coyote Abatement Program, La Verne & San Dimas Communities

I live in northern San Dimas. They are here daily. Night and day. They killed someone’s cat in my front yard, viscously Attacked my dog inside the fenced back yard inviting in late morning. And chased my girlfriend to the house while working in the back yard.. I’ve had animal control here several times and follow there instructions. Nothing stops these vicious predators!!

It is getting unsafe to even let the kids go to play in the backyard. Coyotes are getting in the yard by climbing the walls

Please something needs to be done now. People are in danger and unless we get on top of this we're going to have a bigger problem than we can even handle. Who comes first people and their children or coyotes come on it's simple it doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure that one out. When kids are getting hurt that's where you draw the line. If you have a heart you will do something.

I've always believed that Coyote's should be destroyed wherever and whenever possible. I used to run into the all the time in South Pasadena! I used to hear them capturing and savaging killing dogs and cats. Get rid of them now!!

Continuous culling of ALL urban coyotes NOW! Let’s error in favor of our children and pets....ELIMINATE THE THREAT!!!!!

Killer coyotes do not belong in populated neighborhoods ever.. now is the time to trap and remove them before more children and seniors are at risk...

I no longer feel safe to walk my dogs.

They are also impacting the Glendora community as well.

Can we add Glendora to this petition as well?

We at Rancho Glendora Mobil Villas in Glendora are having these same type problems with the Coyotes...Something needs to be done! Fish & Game is the ones to call or contact on line to get something done...Please do so before someones small child is attacked as it just happened already!

There is no re-homing them. If we move the coyotes to a different area, the coyotes there will hunt them and kill them. They do not belong in our cities, they were eradicated before, bad politics allowed them back in and they need to be eradicated again.

Something absolutely needs to be done to control the population and re-home 80% of these coyotes. I’ve lived here since 1990 and it is just gotten out of hand and will continue to do so if not controlled . Thank you, Maritza Martinez Via Verde area

There are packs that are now living in the communities, not just passing through. Their food sources are solely supplied by our community, making it likely they will view small children as an option if hungry enough.

There are too many of them and they are no longer fearful of people. I ride horses in North San Dimas and they trot through our arena with little kids taking lessons. A few years ago, one actually came after two of us on horseback with it's ears flat and showing it's teeth. We were near the public arena, not even on trail. Whatever complaints we have made fall on deaf ears.

I support the eradication.

When humans manage coyote numbers wisely as per fish and game recommendations they stay away and hunt their natural prey (mice, rats, squirrels, rabbits, etc.), and they teach their pups to do the same. When humans do not manage coyote numbers wisely they quickly overpopulate and are forced into human populated areas where they lose their fear of humans and pets, find easy to catch prey\food in our backyards and trash cans, and stop hunting rodents. We need to manage coyote numbers wisely already (same goes for mountain lions, etc.).

Is Glendora on the list?

Is it going to take the loss of child to remove these predators. Take action now!!!
