I think the 9.9 limit is the dumbest thing ever for one those motors cost so much the Workin Man can't afford the extra motor .#2 Most people carb out there motors to 15 hp and can go pretty fast any ways#3 put a speed limit on the lakes and enforce those rules .#4 Some people just have a 9.9 hp motor cover .9.9 hp limit on any lakes is one of the dumbest laws ever .

My dad's boat has an 85 on it we hardly ever go to this lake because no control hardly with trolling motor in high winds and it's dangerous trying to cross the lake to get the the fishing spots we like

It is impossible to fish on lake because of people going way to fast on their boats. It should be stopped!

All boats should be allowed to idle as the tax dollars that are funding this lake seem to go faster than idle!

I have been in favor of this for years. My 75 hp motor makes a lot less wake at idler than a 10 horse that can't even get on a plane

I support this issue. I can't use my boat on Cowan with the current rules. Disabled and elderly people also need to be able to use big motor to trailer.

Love Cowan lake but never go because it is to hard to load the boat onto the trailer without the motor. The lake and region would benefit from idle only. Lots of people drive faster than a bass boat would idle with a 10 horse.

Acton Lake in Oxford Ohio adapted this change with little to no effect on the sailing community and opened the waters to many people. It's been a positive impact on the lake and community.

I've actually had my trolling motor die on the lake before. Also, on windy days the trolling motor isn't even strong enough to get us where we want to go on the lake. I think an idle only rule would be great.

It is truly a shame that we cannot use a lake based on the size of the motor on a boat. An idle rule should be allowed for these boats. A little consideration, and common sense is all that is needed. Why can we all just get along, and share our beautiful lakes??
