Horsepower shouldn't be the concern, speed is the real issue.

I agree that IDLE ONLY would be a huge benefit to us fishing. My boat is only 17 ft but it is an extremely heavy boat and I would love to Idle only on Cowan. I live five miles from Brown reservoir and continue to drive with my buddies to Cowan because the fishing is so much better.

for us too spend day on lake it drains are battery it would be good if we could idle big motors toi get to points thehen use trolling motor I have 18 ft boattake lot of power to push and am forced to other lakes because of this that allows bigger moters

I don't believe having an idle speed limit would hurt or bother anyone or thing. By in acting this, it will bring more boats, hence more monies into the area.

As a small boat owner, I don't get to use Caesar Creek, c.j.brown or any of the other big lakes because the big motors own them. We need somewhere to go. Cowan currently had no big motors on it, yet I see people using them and going faster than a"TROLL". IT WOULD ONLY. GET WORSE FROM HERE, it's human nature

Improve access to all fisherman and boaters by allowing idle access to Cowan lake. This will allow bigger, but safer boats for fisherman to enjoy the lake.
