I would like to fish Cowan lake but my boat is a 50hp and I don’t see a problem with idle only I fish other lakes that’s idle only

You should be able to idle your bass boat motor. The boats the sailing club are running 60 up motors, and they don't idle when they use them. Are they going to make them idle.

A 9.9 pr 10hp can run wide open and wake the lake..but a bigger 4 stroke at idle wakes nothing!! FACT!
I PAYTAXES JUST LIKE THEY DO AND JUST LIKE THE SAIL BOATERS AND YAKERS!
ITS ABOUT TIME TO STOP PANDERING TO THE FEW AND OPEN COWAN TO EVERYONE!! PLUS BRING IN REVENUE FOR THE AREA.

I can run faster with my trolling motor than idle speed of my gas motor so speed is not an issue makes no sense why you cannot idle big motor i am a taxpayer and should be able to…i also have bad arthritis and health issues where it is a safety issue to load my boat without the big motor assist me…

We struggle to get atround this lake on our trolling motors, and the sail boat club has four boats with 90hp morots riding around. Seams very unfair to the fishermen.

Have fished Cowan since I was a kid(50 now). Fond memories with my late father. Now have a 19ft boat, and would like to go there but not spending $3k+ for a kicker when I can go to Caesarscreek. Allow the idle only.

Like fishing there. Enjoyed the camping sites and cabins. I'm not buying a smaller motor and also drive the couple hours to get there.
