I have been reading through the stories you all are leaving in the comments and it is honestly heartbreaking to see how many families are caught in this mess. I am currently putting together the final list of names to drop off at the office because the Minister needs to understand that these are actual people and not just lines on a spreadsheet.

I keep staring at the screen because this momentum feels like a total fever dream and honestly I never thought so many people would actually get it. It is wild knowing that so many families who are hurting are finally being seen because really the indifference from the top is just exhausting.

2 dependants with tho other source of income. I have rent elec, water car payments totalling R8 500. Then I still need to eat. Uif does not cover half of what is needed. We need tourism to resume so that the burden can ge taken off the state for some. Our comanpy has 54 people who are on temporary layoff
My heart goes out to ppl, who have made the Effort n spent the money to add value to peoples lives... They employ folk, this trickles down to everyone in their community....
Please Tourism matters
Allow healthy country resorts to open their venues to guests.
Save our industry
Tourism must open...
The incompetence of government is literally destroying people- open up ALLL ECONOMIC ACTIVITY TODAY- let people get back to work now

All tourism products must open now. Adhere to Covid-19 protocols to prevent the spread of virus. If everyone does so at the same same time the message will go out that we have a constitutional right to work and generate income. The failure of the government and its healthcare system is not our fault.
