As if a caterer you hire will enforce rules on your property. You think a bridezilla won't have a hissy fit for any staff ruining her sPecIAL DAy?

It would be great to see wedding receptions held on private property not grouped in with general private gatherings that are capped at 25 people (outdoors). If the wedding is catered, has a wedding planner/other staff and all covid protocols are being enforced, it should fall into the same gathering limits as a staffed venue!

This is such a crime against business!
The logic of indoor capacities make no sense!
Restaurants and Banquet Halls have the same capacity of 50!!
It should be done by % of space or seating capacity as per municipal by-laws, fire and liquor requirements.
Come On Dougie... time to Listen!

Just like schools are allowed to be open for the full day. Please consider it being okay to have a safe gathering for weddings for 3 to 4 hours
