It is not right, nor does it make sense that in big boxed stores people are side by side shopping ..but.. we cannot hold 50-100 person indoor events at venues that can actually hold 1000+people. I work in the event industry and can tell you that venues know to have the tables seated 6ft apart. Household or family members will sit at their own tables to make sure we are not mixing families or crowds. There are washroom attendants and staff around the facilities constantly ensuring cleanliness and safety measures. Please hear & listen to the people!

Allow full (or at least 75% capacity) weddings in Ontario! Im a wedding planner and I work at a farm venue. Our dining barn has a 225 person capacity. The ceilings are super high and the long side of the barn is fully open to the elements. There is so much open air that it is ridiculous to consider us an indoor venue and subject our clients to have to reduce their guest counts to 50. They've already lost so much in deposits to other vendors, decor loss etc. At least allow the higher capacity...we are accommodating every other restriction; wearing masks, social distancing, no dancing. Please reconsider allowing a couple to start their new life together celebrating with everyone they love

Not allowing weddings is taking away people’s livelihood. Don’t let those in the wedding industry to go TWO years without income.
