We, the undersigned, urge the ECB not to implement the proposed changes to the County Championship and leave the two divisional structure in place.

Updates

July 20, 2008

I have sent a formal letter to the ECB executive board detailing our concerns regarding the proposed divisional restructuring. My team is currently scheduling follow-up meetings with regional cricket stakeholders to ensure these arguments are formally entered into the record.

If you reduce the number of games you kill the development of young spinners and bowlers. Just bad for cricket all round.
