Cottage clusters are way to address the missing middle. If the City of Eugene truly wants to uphold the mission of Envision Eugene, then it is necessary to consider clusters within residential zones. Not only do cottage clusters create the the opportunity for a diversity in housing units, but it also has the capability of promoting affordability while simultaneously promoting community.

Eugene's 2010 Climate and Energy Action Plan recognizes smaller homes as an important strategy to address climate change. Action 2.2a reads: "Revise or expand incentives to encourage smaller homes that require less energy to operate and fewer building materials to construct." Increasing the availability of small homes in Eugene improves affordability, improves walkability, and helps us meet our climate goals. Let's not delay.

We need Tiny homes to live in, keeping prices down on Tiny home builds. So every one can afford to live better..Retirement doesn't pay enough monthly to pay High Rent,
