we should be behind this as USA 829 ADCs. A natural progression. It would only enhance our category. Every person working in this capacity for costumes would therefore be ADCs for Costumes similarly to ADCs for Decoration.

Costume Coordinators are an integral part of any Costume Department. They are the eyes and ears to the designers, production assistants, wardrobe supervisors and costumers.

We need coordinators. They perform tasks that support both the wardrobe and costume department. It's virtually impossible to do a job without them.

These are skilled professionals! We rely on them too much for them not to have the protection of a union.
This position certainly should be considered as a part of the Local 829 Union. I have worked on projects where I am the first to arrive and the last to go home, involved in almost every aspect of the costume department functions, and the responsibility in which the coordinator holds, is such a vital part of the project.
