Signs should be obvious and well placed to ensure that every attendee remembers them.

It's basic manners to ask before putting your arm around someone or taking a photo of them

As a victim of people thinking cosplay us consent, I sign this to help others grow a pair and hope for more victims to come out about their experiences and start putting up a fight!

Just because we cosplay does not mean we are an object for you to touch. We are people first!

I could not imagine this happening to me as I have started cosplaying and would not enjoy it, I feel people should give their consent first before getting negative comments thrown at them and being touched.

It seems a good cause for relatively low cost.

I should have to worry about me or my boyfriends arse being groped when we're in Free! cosplay. Cosplay is not consent. No one should be touching anyone without their permission and they should be clearly shown at MCM. I have been to several MCM conventions up and down the country and not seen one advertisement or propaganda for it. I'm not worried about the MCM staff as they try their best but the people going need to be told and shown more

This message needs to be as visible as possible on the con scene, a few little notices here and there will not cut it.

Tons of my friends cosplay, and I wouldn't want them being harassed by anyone. Or anybody that cod plays for that matter

I like this idea I think it really promotes safety and respect withing a con. There is nothing wrong with admiring someones costume and talking about it if they are willing but it does not grant you permission to cop a feel whenever you see fit. A con should be fun for everyone I really support this and if I could sign more than once I would.

Unfortunately it still seems to need saying.
