Why has this not always been the way? If people are stupid enough to touch and photograph people without consent, we will put up huge signs declaring that it is wrong. This ends now.

We respect Guests and don't it to them, so why do it to people who are cosplaying. We are all human.

People should be allowed to spend their time at conventions in all cosplays normally.

Not just at MCM Expos, but all Conventions.

This needs to happen at all conventions and cosplay gatherings to be honest.

i love Mcm and cosplaying but this is the one thing that scares me for cosplaying in public. I hope these signs get put in place!

I'm shocked and appalled that some people think they can get away with such disrespectful behavior, MCM Expo is supposed to be the most enjoyable time of the year, and no one deserves to miss out on that because of some perverted individuals being unbelievable assholes. Let's get this petition all the signatures it needs and them some, to help spread the word and hopefully prevent acts sexual harassment from happening in the future.

This shouldn't be just for mcm but for every convention, it's unacceptable behaviour and should not be tolerated.

BRILLIANT idea! I'm a female cosplayer and have been to so many cons where this has been a problem, glad to see someone is raising awareness

The sad truth of the matter is that they have not done anything to stop these recurring occurrences. From my knowledge females and males tend to show up with their partners,girlfriends/boyfriends and so on just to avoid these occurrences. Cosplaying is to have fun and not to be harassed in anyway. Had my little sister cry because someone said her costume was not as nice as mine. I found that wrong on so many levels. Furthermore, I would not like to see my partner have random people group up on her and randomly touch her. To say the least I will end up getting arrested protecting her rather than the others. This has to stop. Because one day it will happen to a girl or guy who is there with a group and they will not take that kind of harassment ending in a physical confrontation.

this is a brill idea! I overheard some guys saying some crude things about a cosplayer and all it would have taken would be some liquid courage or a dare from "the lads" for them to have assaulted her. Get these warnings at cons and be more ruthless with rule breakers!

One of my close friends had a bad experience at a con and it was bang out of order for someone to try to take advantage of her in that way. I hope this will never happen to me at any cons I will go to. Hope this petition is successful! x

I have also had bad experiences at expo since I was 14 by older cosplayers and general public, I hope that this idea works.
