Its terrible that an event which is supposed to make people feel comfortable, feel part of a community and to have a great time is tarnished by some individuals that are vile enough to cross boundaries just because they are in costume. It needs to be show this isn't right and isn't tolerated

This would be a great step in the right direction. Help make conventions safer and fun for everyone.

It's scary that people have to be reminded in the first place, but that's the world for you.

Respect each other just like you should on the street in everyday life.

There certainly needs to be greater exposure for this, not just in the form of signs but also in the con book too as a reminder to people, the more overall emphasis on the message, the more it will be followed.

I've been groped in cosplay before and tried to have people come onto me and also had people stalk me and drag me away from friends. had enough of the shit stains at expo.

i have been groped many times in cosplay, and at least a reminder to people that do this will possibly scare them from doing it

Though i have not seen any signs at MCM, i under stand this element is covered on their website. Anyway yes sings the bigger the better .
Everyone should feel safe and have a good time. It's quite expensive going to these Comic Cons and the last thing you want is to spend all your money and all you get at the end of the day is Harassed.

my friends and i also had an experience with a man harassing us and getting us to kiss him and getting in our faces at comic con and it was horrible, cosplay is definitely not consent !!

Please help make conventions a safe space for cosplayers otherwise you'll lose valuable customers.
