I am ashamed of the way our schools are so stuck on their policies instead of what is the best thing for our students. They are sticklers for certain rules and not what is best for our children anymore. I feel very ashamed of many of the schools in our country today because of the decisions they are making for our children. Parents, we need to stand up for our rights and the rights of our children today, not tomorrow or the next day, or we will all be paying for it tomorrow or the next day!!! Take our rights back now or deal with the consequences and don't feel you have a right to whine when you would not stand up when you were given the chance!!!

as a student at Coronado I think that this is just ridiculous like c'mon now , only 2 tardies a whole semester and if you get more then 2 you get after school detention then iss then oss and then project , they have really gone over board with this whole tardy policy thing

i think that this is just ridiculous like only 2 tardies a whole semester , the hallways are crazy packed no matter which way you go , and if you get more than 2 its afterschool detention the iss the oss and then project like this is not gonna go well at all

People get to know your laws a teacher and a school can get in trouble for not letting you go to the bathroom. Especially a women teacher they know that if a girl holds their pee that we can get UTI's and lots more infections. So in that case if they say no... Walk out and go anyways they CAN BOT STOP U FROM GOING... Ok maybe for a few minutes until their done teaching something but they can BOT STOP YOU GOING TO THE RESTROOM . That's why I think that one bathroom pass crap is so freaking stupid and I don't follow it. And I never will... Cuz let them not let me go and let them right me up cuz wen I go to the office they can't do crap cu it's illegal to not allow a student or anyone in matter to go to the restroom.. Plus I know some teachers that I have that tell us we can't go but turns around and tells the class one minute they have to go.. Like um no u can't if we can't u can't so how bout ur butt turn around and teach us since u think that it's ur class and ur gonna spend it how u want it. So students I'm telling u ok go ahead use that pass if u really need to go but if u really need to go another time ask if they say no... We'll walk out and go!! Would you rather have a infection or be sent to the office for a little chit chat from ur principle thinking he or she is so big and think they know it all and calls your parents to tell them what u did and then seeing ur principles face turn when ur parents are yelling at the principle for not letting h go to the restroom ..... ? Cuz u know wat I would pick the second choice because the school can't do nothing wen u throw laws at their face !!!
