it is ridiculous the amount of time they give us to get their class especially when having to go to the restroom and at that having to go to a class across the school is not right. The amount of time needs to honestly be expanded or the teachers need to let us go to class or we should be aloud more then 2 tardiness the whole semester.

the tardy policy is just wrong. Do they not realize that some people live across town and are late for that very reason? On top of that the traffic. Also after two you automatically get sent to the office. It's outrageous, there will be so many people in after school detention, then if after school detention is not working then what are they going to do? If you are going to be late might as well just stay home to avoid using the two warnings you have.

These updated policies have turned Coronado into a oceanian society so to speak. What ever happened to the student bodies voice? Furthermore the "issues" stated in the updated policies are meager in comparison to the real issues, maybe the administrators should actually hear out the student body so the real issues can be taken care of instead of those in the new policies.

Tardies are not really that big a deal it's all the fighting and violence. They need to focus more on the violence instead of Tardies. Hey Coronado at least we get to class and still make good grades. focus on violence not Tardies.

2 tardies a semester is rediculas I understand the whole getting students too class where they are stuppost to be but some kids have legit reasons in being tardy

What does a free education have to do with, tardys and open campus lunch? Sounds to me like you didn't t read the whole thing.

Ok this is my third year at Coronado. I can honestly say I have made it from the 500 hall to the 700 hall in less than 5 minutes. Passing period is not a time to talk with friends, it is a time to get to class. Stay on top of things and you won't be tardy. It's high school, be glad your getting a good, free education.

I agree with this the policies they are pushing in the name of "safety" make it feel like we're back in middle school. Isn't highschool supposed to prepare us for the real world?
