If Cork City and County is serious about its development it has to have links to international destinations; Berlin is one of those. We cannot afford to go backwards in time, we need to stay open and connected at the very minimum.

Popular routes such as Berlin, Lisbon, Rome, Budapest and Prague have all been lost in the last few years. There does not appear to be any logic to the decision to cut them as had been thriving. The thinking seems to be that Corkonians should just get on the Aircoach or drive for three hours each way to catch a flight, despite there being an excellent, relatively new airport ten minutes up the road.

Agreed. Cork needs more flights to mainland Europe. Berlin and Brussels badly needed.

The people of Cork and surrounding counties need more flights to other European destinations and not just during the summer. Its ridiculous that if you want to go anywhere other than the UK that we have to travel to Dublin to get a flight.

I ,for one ,would go at least twice a year to visit family. That's 10 seats before you facto in family coming the opposite direction. A must !

Not just Berlin, but also Rome, Naples, Milan (all year!). It is unbelievable that the second largest city in Ireland does have connections with some of the most important European cities!

I am very concerned that the Rep of Ireland's 2nd largest city is being increasingly isolated both in the air and on the road (no motorways from Limerick or Waterford)
