These students should be able to wear these cords proudly. All students are not honor graduates but deserve the recognition they have achieved through other areas.

As an alumni of Cook High, the future graduating classes should be able to wear their chords with pride!

That's wrong. If they earn them then they should receive them.

It is an honor to have a cord during Graduation by many High School students. It not only signifies that the said student is an individual but it also shows the hard work that the student has put in from the first day they stepped into the shark tank as a freshman. This decision is quite appalling and the majority would have a strong consensus against it. I plead that you not take such a privilege and quite possibly a sacred right away from these Cook High Students.

These kids work hard for every cord they have. It should be supported by letting them wear them.

If they are going to do away with certain cords then they should do away with all cords even honor. Don't single out certain graduates.

Not permitting chords is absurd! Some students have donated blood many times to get a chord and accomplished many other achievements to get awarded a chord. Let us show what we have accomplished!

Let them wear the cords. This is totally unfair.

How dare the school take away a students accomplishments! Teaching young adults to strive to be the best they can be, go above and beyond, and work hard towards their goals then revoking their acknowledgement of their dedication to bettering themselves absolutely unacceptable and obscenely disgusting. Graduating is an enormous life event that is worked hard for and the withholding of their earned mementos is discrediting everything that these students have accomplished. I expect more from the people who are put in positions to be leading these adolescents by example as they start their journey into their adult lives. Shame on this school system and shame on the adults who decided this would be okay in any aspect.

Unbelievably Lame ! These students have earned the recognition ! What a NEGATIVE signal is being sent to change the game after its won !!! This is the type of action that puts a damper on achievement. Admin: Admit this is a mistake and reverse your decision. Turn this back into a positive.

Yet another way for them to try and make the under achievers not feel as bad while punishing the hard workers.
