The student have worked hard to accomplish all they have done during their four years in high school. They deserve to be recognized for their accomplishments.

Cords are better,
We won't lose them like we will pins. They are something we want to be able to keep forever.

A lot of these kids wirked hard to earn a bit of cord. This accomplishment does and should segregate them from the anonimity of being one of the "class" yet tie them forever to the group they chose to be with to earn said cord. What is the harm? Give the kids the cords!!!!

I do believe that these students should have all cords on THEIR graduation day. These cords represent who each & every student was in high school and what they were a part of. It would be a shame to not recognize these cords.

Whomever typed up this petition, summed it all up. Very well spoken. I stand behind and support this petition. All students should be awarded for their accomplishments regardless of whether they are honor students or not. I have Sophomore that will soon walk across this stage and I should hope that receives any and all recognition for her hard work in any area.

I personally think the cords should be kept. It's a great privilege to earn that cord. Hard work and dedication pays off so you should be allowed to wear your cord!

Let the seniors have their earned cords. It wasn't broke, so don't try and fix it.

As a parent of two cord graduates, nothing makes them more prouder than to wear their cords. Shame on you for wanting to take that away.

Please reinstate the cords. My junior has worked hard, and we were looking forward to him earning & wearing cords for his graduation next year.
