Can't believe they would want to diminish the accomplishments of these students. Let them keep the cords and sashes that they worked so hard for.

Atrocious reasoning for expelling the cords.

I was looked forward to being decorated with cords at my graduation and these students should be able to do the same.

Cords are one of the few ways of showing a student's successes during high school. As a student myself, I have worked tirelessly to be a well-rounded, successful student and am very proud of the cords I have earned thus far. I truly hope your administration changes their mind and allows for your students to be recognized via graduation cords.

Cords have been a tradition for many many years, why would we change it now?

Just like giving trophies to everyone that plays the game but do not recognize the won that was the best overall player!! What makes a student want to strive for the top if they will not be honored by their accomplishment!!! Even help them in their future!! This is just trying to make everyone the same in every aspect of life!! Be honest with yourself! God did not make us all the same!! Quit punishing those that use the talent God gave them! Wrong, just wrong!!!!

I loved wearing all of my chords when I graduated! It's a tradition that students shouldn't be deprived of!

If they earn the cords, then they should have the cords! Its not right for them to work so hard for what they get and you guys take it away from them!

This is so wrong to do the students this way. It is their graduation, they worked hard to get to this point. And they have earned the right to wear cords at graduation.
