I will be extremely upset if my son is not allowed to wear the cords he has earned!

This is the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard. It's that child's one night to shine. To shine in front of their friends and family. Don't take away their achievements.

We have done a lot in r-H and I think it should be allowed. We apply ourselves and accomplish many things!

Recognition for achievement should not be limited to those who meet the criteria of one group. We are all different beings, interested in different fields. If we are not encouraged to succeed in the field we love, what then, is the point of education?

what is wrong with schools not honoring the students for their dedicated hard work and service at their graduation. They earned those cords ,- let them be recognized !!!

This is the only time in their lives to be recognized for their achievements. .just when would they suggest these be worn? Ridiculous!

Grads wear those cords with pride. I know seeing both of my kids walk with their cords was a great honor to me as a parent. It showed that they excelled in many ways.

I support the 4-H wearing cords at graduation. It is a great program for kids and I support them being recognized for their accomplishments.
