Maybe these people need to remember who they work for and if it is an elected position, they can easily be replaced. If not then we need to influence those that are elected and remind them!

This is rediculous!! People trying to improve and help a community getting harassed by the city?? I bet if they were planting a garden to endorse a republican politician they would be given a several community parks to plant all the gardens they wanted!!

I had lived in Copperas Cove for 38 years when I left I went to New Hampshire where these types of gardens help the homeless and less fortunate people really get involved all over the town and have fun doing it. I was ashamed to see that Cove was doing this to these people as the one thing cove was always doing was trying to keep Cove beautiful. Shame on you Copperas Cove for not taking care of your own and helping your people improve your town.

The city of COPPERAS COVE need more residents like Mike and Sheena, who care about our community and the people who live in it! The city of Copperas Cove needs to STOP harassing residents who want to help the community with learning and growing it own food! Give man a fish, he will eat for one day, but TEACH a man how to fish he will eat EVERY day!! No matter what people look like treat EVERY one with respect and not intimidation and threats!!! If nothing else put it to the PEOPLE of Copperas Cove to VOTE on this matter! SO the PEOPLE will decide if we can have a community garden!

gardening projects are a win-win for everyone envolved. They're a teaching tool for kids and adults about nutririon and a self sustainable skill, they provide a cheap source of highly nutritious fruits and vegetables, they provide a sense of purpose and responsibility for youth, as well as time outside, and are therapuetic for those with depression and anxiety. Not only that, but they beautify neighborhoods and promote friendly neighbor interactions. The way this project has been treated is a disgrace.

Maybe the city should concentrate more on the crime rate, which is why we'll never move back to the city of Copperas Cove, and stop DICTATING what law abiding residents do with their property. Last time I checked, a vegetable garden wasn't illegal.

I am a longtime resident of this community. I have longed for a Farmer's Market for us but feel the city has repeatedly struck that down as well. A community garden that teaches us how to grow sustainable crops can only be a benefit for this area! I live in Copperas Cove and I vote. Put it on the agenda and let the residents decide!

This almost tops the list on the "greed" list. Growing a community garden sounds like a wonderful idea yet because the city government can not make money, all of a sudden it's a bed idea. Shame on you Copperas Cove and I will never step foot in your town! You are a National Disgrace!
